Our founders have served inside school systems as educators, behavioral health professionals, and special education leaders. We have sat in the same seats as the administrators and teachers we now support.

We have navigated the same complexities — the resource constraints, the policy pressures, the weight of making decisions that shape young lives. That experience isn’t just our background. It’s the foundation of everything we do.

A Vision Rooted in Care, Growth & Opportunity

Marvel Philip, Founder and CEO of EdTheory and SEEDworks Therapy, LLC, built a global impact from humble beginnings. Raised in a home defined by resilience, faith, and perseverance, he learned early that character, not circumstance, determines destiny. He began his career as a Physical Therapist before recognizing that systems, not just individuals, transform communities. Eight years ago, he founded EdTheory, now the seventh-largest educational staffing company in the U.S., serving hundreds of school districts nationwide.

Named to SIA's Staffing 100 North America Leaders List 2026, Marvel also co-launched Autism Learning Centers across California, Utah, and India, and founded Project Hope. His mission: build lasting impact, one student, one school, one community at a time.
